At The Difference Card, we value the strategic partnerships we form with our Brokers, General Agents, and Producers throughout the country.

Working together to deliver outstanding savings and service to our mutual clients has allowed us to continue to build on 20 years of success where we have driven savings for every client that has ever used The Difference Card. In an effort to recognize and reward the partnerships that have allowed our organization to thrive and grow, we created our Purple Producer Rewards Program.

The details below outline how we work with General Agents and Brokerage Agencies, as well as the advantages of our Purple Producer and Elite Purple Producer tiers.

Standard Broker Criteria for New Business Opportunities

Exclusivity is given to the first broker to meet the below criteria.

Submit a request for proposal:

  • RFP is defined as data specific to a client.
  • Minimum of accurate enrollment, rates & plan design.
  • The Difference Card consultant participates in meeting with the client.

Above exclusivity will last until the next renewal date.

 

Broker of Record Changes

The Difference Card will only honor a broker of record change letter if the newly appointed agency is a current Difference Card appointed broker.

A Difference Card appointed broker is defined by the below criteria:

  • Must submit at least 12 RFP opportunities per year.
  • The Difference Card consultant participates in meeting with the client.
  • Must have a signed Broker Compensation Agreement & W9 on file with the Difference Card.
  • Must have three active clients with the Difference Card.

Purple Producers Club Exclusivity: The standard criteria will be waived if the Broker Partner is a member of the Purple Producers Club. Once the minimum qualifications are met, dual activity may be granted on any account.

To qualify as a Purple Producer for The Difference Card:

  • Sell 5 Net New Accounts or 500 Net New Lives
  • 15 Active Clients by December 2021

Purple Producer Preferred Pricing:

  •   50% setup fee discount, if implementation deadlines are met.
  •   Paperwork & Summaries approved by the 10th
  •   Census File in by the 15th
  •   January Deadlines are 12/1 and 12/10

Elite Purple Producers Club Exclusivity:

The Elite Purple Producers Club is intended for our upper echelon broker partners. The Elite Purple Producers will have access to the same incentives as the Purple Producers Club, and the following added benefits will be included:

Dual activity may be granted on any account.

 

 


 

Broker of Record Protection:

  • BOR takeovers will only be ized for agencies that are in the Purple Producer club.

To qualify as an Elite Purple Producer for The Difference Card:

  • Sell 10 Net New Accounts or 1,000 Net New Lives
  • 70 Active Clients by December 2021

Elite Purple Producer Preferred Pricing:

  • 100% setup fee discount, if implementation deadlines are met.
  • Paperwork & Summaries approved by the 10th
  • Census File in by the 15th
  • January Deadlines are 12/1 and 12/10
