Dr. Gregg Lehman, Ph. D. is the Chief Executive Officer of The Difference Card, having led the company since he was brought on board in 2014.
Gregg has an extensive background and had success over the past 30 years in senior leadership positions with both private and public companies. He served as CEO of healthcare services and employee benefit companies such as The National Business Coalition on Health, Gordian Health Solutions, Inspiris, Health Fitness Corporation and MGC Diagnostics.
Gregg has delivered numerous keynote addresses on healthcare reform and employee benefit cost reduction strategies over his career. He has ed and co-ed over 10 articles and has served as a board member of the Population Health Alliance, National Patient Safety Foundation, National Quality Forum, as well as a member of the National Advisory Committee for the RWJ National Health Care Purchasing Institute.
Gregg earned his B.S. Degree from Indiana University in Business Administration and his M.S. and Ph.D. Business Administration, Finance and Economics from Purdue University.
Chief Operating Officer

Rosa Garcia Rinder is the Chief Operating Officer and joined The Difference Card in 2020.
Rosa joined The Difference Card because they are an organization that is innovative, diverse and helps employers save money on insurance while retaining high level of benefits for their employees. Rosa’s main objectives at The Difference Card are to deliver an amazing experience for our client partners, grow so that our teams can share in that, and be a great place to work.
Rosa started her career in this industry at Choice Strategies in 2005. Rosa joined the Choice team as a member service representative and employee number 20; and within a few years rose to Director of Operations. As Director of Operations, Rosa was responsible for a team of over 100 employees and functions including, Member Services, Claims, Client Services and Implementation and Enrollment functions.
In 2012, Choice was acquired by WageWorks and Rosa stayed on for another two years, working to bring the Choice team into the WageWorks Family. In 2015, Rosa joined Alegeus where she held roles including Director Solution Architecture and Director of Strategic Accounts. At Alegeus, Rosa worked with dozens of administrators and some of the largest carriers in the United States, helping bring to market their CDH solution.
Rosa is originally from Queens, and grew up between there (Go Sunnyside!) and Madrid, Spain. Rosa went to college in Vermont, graduating from the University of Vermont. She loved it so much, she stayed in the Green Mountain State for 20 years- hiking, skiing, swimming! Currently, Rosa resides in Arlington, Massachusetts where she is raising a wild and fierce daughter, Ava Luna (yes, adaptation of Eva Luna from the book!) and her pug, Lucy. Rosa loves to learn, loves to run, loves to travel, loves her nieces and nephews and spending as much time with family and friends.
Chief Revenue Officer

Christopher A. Calderone is the Chief Revenue Officer for The Difference Card. Chris has worked at The Difference Card for over nine years, starting as Senior Sales Consultant, then moving into the East Coast Sales Director, and most recently was appointed Chief Revenue Officer in 2020.
Founded in 2001, The Difference Card is a unique healthcare cost solution designed to help employers achieve long-term savings without reducing employee benefit levels. The Difference Card has provided its clients with an average annual savings of 18% over the last ten years. Chris sets himself apart by consistently providing his clients with the guidance and expertise they need during critical transition periods. He is able to successfully assess their needs and construct a plan that will help them meet their long-term healthcare savings goals. The Difference Card is not just technology – it’s the powerful combination of flexibility, customer service, wellness, innovation and results.
Chris started his career with Aetna. He graduated from the E.E. Cammack Group Insurance School, which is Aetna’s Sales and Development Program. While at Aetna, Chris was a two-time Gold Circle Award recipient. After leaving Aetna, Chris joined Anthem, Inc., as a Senior Sales Executive, within the Empire BCBS brand. Upon leaving BCBS for The Difference Card, Chris was their top NY sales executive.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Chris currently resides in Mamaroneck, New York with his wife and two children.
Chief Technology Officer
Since joining The Difference Card, as the Chief Technology Officer, Dan has focused on optimizing the use of technology to better serve our broker and employer clients. Previously, Dan has spent over 20 years working in the healthcare technology space focusing on sales automation and analytics.
He architected and managed the development of the HealthConnect platform, which was the largest provider of small group health quotes in the US.
Chief Risk Officer
Carol Adams is the Chief Risk Officer and Lead Actuary for The Difference Card, overseeing the Underwriting Department and enabling the successful governance of risk when underwriting The Difference Guarantee Product.
Carol started her career in insurance over 28 years ago, and has worked in the Accident & Health industry for both Life and Property/Casualty insurance companies.
Most recently, she held roles in Senior Management of large P/C insurance companies, including Arch, Berkley and Ace (Chubb), with Chief Underwriting Officer responsibilities for the past 16 years. Her technical actuarial background includes product development, pricing, financial reporting, strategic planning, and risk management.
Carol is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA-1993) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA-1995). She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.
